The final version of the SLS AMG, known as the SLS AMG GT Final Edition, was revealed at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. Considered by many as the most desirable version of the SLS AMG, it strikes a perfect balance between the refinement of the standard model and the aggressiveness of the track-oriented Black Series.
Benefiting from key upgrades, the 6.3-liter V8 engine was tuned to deliver an additional 20 horsepower, while the AMG Speedshift DCT seven-speed transmission was enhanced for quicker gear shifts. The suspension also received improvements, with stiffer bushings and thicker anti-roll bars for better handling.
Limited to just 350 units in both Coupe and Roadster variants, the SLS AMG GT Final Edition stands out with its aggressive design elements, including a carbon fiber hood scoop, front splitter, and rear spoiler, all nodding to Mercedes-Benz’s racing heritage.
Inside, the cabin is equally luxurious, featuring exclusive diamond-stitched leather upholstery on the racing seats, Alcantara accents, silver seat belts, and black floor mats with silver leather trim. A Bang & Olufsen BeoSound AMG surround sound system ensures top-tier audio, highlighting the car’s blend of performance and luxury.
