The Aston Martin V12 Speedster is one of the most thrilling and rare members of the Vantage lineup, with only 88 units produced, and just 12 in right-hand drive, like this example offered for sale on Bonhams Cars.
Designed by the “Q by Aston Martin” bespoke customization team, the V12 Speedster delivers a pure, unfiltered driving experience, drawing from Aston Martin’s rich racing history and aeronautical influences. Built on a cutting-edge bonded aluminum architecture, it integrates components from the DBS Superleggera and Vantage, creating a truly unique platform.
The V12 Speedster’s design is inspired by the legendary 1959 Le Mans-winning DBR1 and takes cues from the 2013 CC100 concept car revealed at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. The car’s bold design features a prominent front grille, fender louvres, and a tail light-integrated spoiler.
It rides on forged 21-inch center-lock wheels and is powered by a 5.2-liter V12 engine that produces an impressive 700 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds.
This particular Speedster, finished in a stunning 1950s Racing Green, is an ultra-rare, limited-edition model. Having had only two previous owners, it has been sparingly driven and primarily displayed as an art piece, with just 325 miles on the odometer.
Offered in pristine, nearly new condition, the car is accompanied by an exclusive V12 Speedster helmet, a V5C document, a car cover, a battery charger, and comprehensive paint protection. This V12 Speedster will be auctioned by Bonhams Cars this weekend and could sell for over $1.1 million.
