Unveiled just before the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hour race, the 488 Pista “Piloti Ferrari” celebrated Ferrari’s success with the GTE 488 at the renowned circuit. This special limited edition was exclusively offered to Ferrari clients who participated in racing, either through the Challenge series or the XX Programme.
These cars, created through the Tailor Made program, featured race liveries inspired by AF Corse Le Mans racers and included a unique race number on the sides, making them the ultimate version of these exceptional vehicles. The Piloti was offered in only four colors: Argento Nürburgring, Nero Daytona, Blu Tour De France, and the classic Rosso Corsa.
Despite its exclusive design, the Piloti retained the same twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine from the 488 Pista, delivering 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. With a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, its gear shifts became even faster in Race mode, resulting in a 0-60 mph time of just 2.85 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph.
