Exceptional 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari Up for Auction

One of only 120 LaFerraris delivered to the US

The LaFerrari, introduced in 2013, marked Ferrari’s final model with a mid-mounted 12-cylinder engine. This limited edition coupé, the result of nine design studies, debuted at the Geneva Auto Show. As the name “LaFerrari” suggests, the car featured a V12 engine, a hallmark of Ferrari since its inception in 1947.

The 6.3-liter V12 produced 789bhp, while an electric motor added 161bhp, bringing the total output to an impressive 950 horsepower—the highest for any Ferrari road car. The hybrid system, which included a KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) similar to those in Formula 1 cars, charged the lithium-ion battery during motion.

The LaFerrari featured a carbon fiber monocoque chassis with advanced suspension and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes. It boasted a top speed over 217 mph, 0-62 mph in under 2.4 seconds, and lapped Ferrari’s Fiorano test track in a record 1:19.7. Despite a steep price, all 499 units were sold before delivery, available only to vetted Ferrari loyalists.

Giving you the chance to own a Ferrari hypercar, this LaFerrari was delivered through Ferrari San Diego in July 2015. It was custom-ordered in Nero with matching black wheels, Giallo calipers, and Nero leather upholstery. The car features carbon-fiber details, including wing mirror stalks, fog lamps, and splitters, along with an optional telemetry kit, large seats, and a black sports exhaust.

It remains in pristine condition, fully wrapped in protective film with removable yellow pinstriping. Displayed at The Quail in Carmel, California, it has been carefully maintained, with under 5,000 miles on the odometer. The car comes with original books, tools, luggage, a battery charging kit, and service records.

This US-market Ferrari LaFerrari will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s this Saturday and is expected to fetch somewhere between $3,600,000 to $4,000,000 USD.
