The 2025 Audi RS6 Avant GT – the Super Wagon

I have been a fan of the Audi RS6 for a long time now, the previous C7 generation and the current C8 generation, I just love the fact of a supercar that can seat five people and take some serious luggage with it, and still outperform most cars you’ll encounter on your journey, I’ve had the good fortune to drive a C7 with tuning up to 800 hp, and despite it being eight years old at that time, it still felt brand new, very tight indeed and with a massive amount of power available at any given moment, personally I would love having a C6 with the 5-Liter V10 engine because that reminds me of a four-door, estate version of a Lamborghini Gallardo, but that just might be me, I tend to have ideas like that from time to time.

The final iteration of the Audi RS6 Avant is the brand new 2025 RS6 Avant GT edition, and while it is surely based on the Audi RS6, the GT is a limited edition with race car pedigree, only 660 units will be available for the entire world, yes, it is available in the United States too, but only 85 will be made available for the USA market, and while some of us might question the livery on this car, other will probably think it’s just a wrap, but it is completely factory, and took inspiration from the late 80s Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO racecar, being mostly white, with red and grey accents, and naturally white wheels too.

Just in case you’re not really a fan of the old-school race car livery, fear not, Audi did also offer the RS6 Avant GT in Mythos Black or the famous Nardo Grey, I would probably go for the black one, which features a ‘stripe’ running over the rear door into the roof, you can see it on the grey one above too, which shows black livery, both of those colors have a less obvious livery compared to the white car, but you’ll draw attention with one of these Audi RS6 Avant GT anyway, whichever color you opt for, the thundering sound of the massive V8 will make heads turn, that’s for sure … but if you’re in the US, rumor has it your only option is the white race car-inspired livery, neither grey nor black are available officially in the US we’ve heard.

You’ve probably already noticed the massive brake vent on the front fender, which is bespoke for the GT edition, but it’s also made from carbon fiber, just like the hood, which shaves a little weight compared to the regular Audi RS6, being a performance GT edition, there is no sunroof, and to match the dual roof wing, again inspired by the wing on the race car, the RS6 Avant GT comes with a bespoke rear diffuser. Despite the more aggressive styling, the engine remains the same as in the RS6 Avant Performance, delivering about 620 hp and 630 bl-ft.

Pricing for the 2025 Audi RS6 Avant GT hasn’t even been announced yet, given that the standard Audi RS6 Avant starts at around $130,000 and the fact that rumors mention the GT would be under $200,000, it does come with a serious premium, but let’s take a look at what Doug DeMuro has to say about this limited edition Super Wagon:
