Lamborghini’s latest masterpiece, the Revuelto, isn’t just stunning to look at, it’s a performance beast. This year’s successor to the Aventador packs a serious punch with a 6.5-liter V12 engine that works in harmony with three electric motors for a mind-blowing 1,001 horsepower.
But can purebred Italian muscle overpower heavily modified German engineering? Carwow decided to find out in a drag race featuring the Revuelto, a modified Audi R8, and a BMW M3 Touring that’s anything but stock.
The Audi R8 boasts the same 5.2-liter V10 as its showroom counterpart, but with a twist – twin turbos have been added for a whopping 1,000 horsepower and 800Nm of torque! The M3 Touring, on the other hand, started with a 3-liter twin-turbo straight-six, good for 510 horsepower and 650Nm. However, extensive engine and gearbox modifications have unleashed a monstrous 1,000 horsepower and 1,100Nm of torque!
