Ferrari has recently unveiled the SF90 XX, breaking away from the conventional XX program, which typically produces track-focused models like the 599XX and FXXK. Notably, this is Ferrari’s first road-legal XX model. The SF90 XX boasts double the downforce compared to the standard SF90 and is lighter, achieving a 0-62mph time of 2.3 seconds.
Essentially, this all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid, delivering a combined 1016 horsepower, blurs the boundary between Ferrari’s top-tier supercars and the previously track-exclusive XX-labeled specials.
Top Gear had the opportunity to get a closer look at it, drive it on the track, and witness its attempt to break a lap record around Ferrari’s Fiorano testing circuit.
