In 2019, McLaren’s custom division, MSO, introduced a special collection of models based on the 720S supercar. These vehicles pay tribute to McLaren’s impressive track record. The entire McLaren 720S Coupe MSO Apex Collection is intended for European buyers and is distinguished by the apex speeds achieved at five different race circuits.
The car you see here is one of only 20 McLaren 600LTs that MSO customized as part of the ‘Apex Collection,’ including just two right-hand drive ‘Apex Great Britain’ cars. Each 600LT in this collection features various cosmetic upgrades and unique details, celebrating the maximum cornering speed of the model at renowned racing circuits. The ‘Apex Great Britain’ variant, for instance, highlights a potential speed of 113mph through Silverstone’s Abbey corner on its carbon-fiber sills.
This car boasts a Silica White finish with a carbon-fiber roof, door mirror casings, front gills, and extended side air vents. Inside, a black Alcantara-trimmed interior incorporates carbon-fiber ‘Senna’ seats and carbon-fiber accents on the steering wheel, center console, dashboard, and door panels. The car rides on optional 19-inch front and 20-inch rear ultra-lightweight five-spoke forged alloy wheels finished in gloss black, equipped with Pirelli P Zero tires.
Its factory specification includes features like soft close doors, a power-adjustable steering column with comfort entry/exit, cabin stowage with illumination, covered door storage bins, a Bower & Wilkins 12-speaker sound system, the MSO Clubsport Pro pack, launch control, climate control, and an integrated infotainment screen with satellite navigation.
Powering this car is a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 592bhp, which sends power to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch semi-automatic transmission with paddle shift.
