The Ferrari 812 Competizione is powered by a 6.5L naturally-aspirated V12 engine. In addition to producing 819 hp and possessing a symphonic 9,500 rpm of vocal range, we now also know that it also churns out 512 lb-ft of torque. Those are the peak figures of course, which are attainable at both 9,250 rpm and 7,000 rpm respectively. However, Novitec was not satisfied with these numbers so they worked on it an managed to come up with a most powerful 812 Competizione of all with 866 HP.
Novitec’s primary focus in their tuning efforts centered on the V12 engine. In its stock configuration, the 812 Competizione delivers 830 HP and 692 Nm of torque. With the introduction of a new exhaust system constructed from Inconel, a lightweight metal alloy also used in Formula 1, and adorned with gold plating, the Ferrari’s power output now reaches a staggering 866 HP and 711 Nm of torque. Beyond the power increase, this system lends the Ferrari an even more aggressive rear profile, featuring two sizable 120 mm exhaust outlets equipped with an electronically controlled valve to modulate the exhaust note.
