Carwow’s YouTube channel organized a yet another interesting drag race featuring three cars from different classes.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S kicked off the competition, known for its efficient all-wheel drive system and powered by a 650 hp 3.8-liter twin-turbo boxer engine. Its excellent gearbox enabled an impressive starting performance.
Next up is the Audi TT RS, which underwent significant modifications. Though it had the capability to produce 1,300 hp, it ran with a lower turbo pressure setting for this race, resulting in 950 hp. Similar to the Porsche, the Audi TT also featured all-wheel drive and utilized a manual transmission.
Finally, the hypercar Koenigsegg Agera RST joined the race, equipped with a mighty 1,360 hp 5.0-liter V8 engine generating an astonishing 1,570 Nm of torque. However, this formidable power output required the use of ethanol racing fuel. When running on regular gasoline, it still produced around 1,100 hp, justifying its hefty price tag of 3.5 million pounds. Unlike the other two contenders, the Koenigsegg directed all its power solely to the rear axle.
Based on the numbers, one might predict the Koenigsegg to be the winner, followed by the Audi, with the Porsche finishing last. To discover the actual winner of this drag race, watch the video.
