With such pedigree, the successor to the 650S gets to rub shoulders with some very elite company. The McLaren 720S employs a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine, which produces 710-horsepower @ 7,500 rpm and 568 lb-ft of torque @ 5,500 rpm.
The official top speed of the 720S is 212 mph (341 km/h), according to the official spec sheet, which also reveals the 0-62 and 0-124 mph (0-100 / 0-200 km/h) times of 2.9 and 7.8 seconds, respectively.
