The McLaren 765LT is a supercar with an exceptional combination of power, lightweight construction, and advanced aerodynamics, making it one of the most formidable vehicles currently available for purchase.
Under the hood lies a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which McLaren claims produces 755 horsepower and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. However, dyno tests have revealed that the engine likely generates over 800 horsepower. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
To test the 765LT’s performance, AutoTopNL took the driver’s seat of one example and drove it on the German Autobahn to see how fast this car can go in a straight line.
