We only recently published our article on the fact that all twelve Bentley Mulliner Bacalar are about to be completed and delivered to their respective clients, so Mulliner, the in-house coachbuilding department from Bentley sets their sights on the next bespoke build, and it seems the prototype for that car is already built, the Bentley Mulliner Batur will make her global debut at the Monterey Car Week, more specifically on Sunday, August 21 in California, and while you might consider the Batur to be the successor to the Bacalar, this new car will showcase an all-new design language for Bentley with a clear teaser of how Bentley’s future range of BEV, or Battery Electric Vehicles, will look.
Similar to the Bacalar name, the name Batur has been derived from the beautiful natural body of water known as Lake Batur, which is an 88m deep, 16 km2 crater lake in Kintamani on the island of Bali, Indonesia.
