The 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona is one of only 1,284 Berlinetta coupes produced between ’68 and ’73. This particular car is chassis number 15009 and is currently for sale on Bring A Trailer.
This car spent its early life in Chicago, IL, and then was purchased by the previous owner in 1975. It spent several years in Michigan and was acquired by the current owner in 1999. It features a 4.4-liter quad-cam V12 that was rebuilt in 2000. That engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission that’s rear-mounted.
The car features Borrani wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, black leather upholstery, air conditioning, power windows, an 8-track player, and a gated shifter. In 2018, the carburetors were rebuilt. In 2019, the front ball joints and tie-rod ends were also rebuilt.
The car shows 43,000 miles on the odometer and it is offered at no reserve. Currently located in Erie, Colorado, the car comes with a tool kit, service records, and a clean Minnesota title. At the time of this writing, the price is up to $330,000 and there are 11 days left on the auction.
