Purple Flakes in the Carbon Fiber
Named after the nine-headed mythological creature called Lernaean Hydra, the Jesko Hydra from Koenigsegg is a stunning machine.
The car features a custom aero package, front splitter, and twin canards on either side as well as louvers on the front fenders. The changes don’t end there. The car also features a huge top-mounted active spoiler and a shark fin.
This is the high-downforce model and not the high-speed model. The high-speed model is capable of 300 mph. This high downforce model is better around a racetrack.
The exposed carbon fiber bodywork on this particular model is one of the key features. There are purple flakes that glitter when light hits them, according to The Supercar Blog. Inside you get black Alcantara all over and then you also get purple stitching.
Hydra lettering has been embroidered onto the dashboard on the passenger side. There’s also the Hydra logo on the headrests. On the outside, there’s the logo on the sharkfin.
The car features the same powertrain as the other Jesko models. It’s a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that pushes out 1280 hp (1600 hp on E85) and 1106 lb-ft of max torque.
