The Silver Shadow Made Regular
Caution! Mr. Regular is no joke and will offend you. Between male member jokes and odd voices, his brand of car review is something you might not expect, but that’s what makes him special.
He recently had a chance to get behind the wheel of a 1968 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow Drophead Coupe, and while by today’s standards this high-end luxury car isn’t the most impressive vehicle out there, in its day, this was a truly impressive car. It’s still one of those iconic machines from Rolls-Royce.
Mr. Regular discusses this British luxury car in comparison with the American comparisons of the time. He discusses why this Rolls was the more expensive car, despite the fact that in many ways the comparable Cadillac would beat out this vehicle (size, power, price).
It’s an interesting comparison, but Mr. Regular doesn’t stop there. This particular Silver Shadow has been modified with a Chevy crate engine. Yes, call it blasphemy, but I call it love. This is a weird, and wonderful machine, and it gives Mr. Regular a way to really dig into the difference between American and British motoring.
