A Unique ’70s Lambo
The Lamborghini Jarama S is a bit of an odd Lamborghini, but it is rare and one of the more affordable Lamborghini’s out there. If you’ve wanted to own something special from the Raging Bull, this is a great option. There’s a 1972 Lamborghini Jarama S for sale at All Collector Cars.
This particular car is a well-preserved example. It has had three owners all in the Bay Area since 1972. The black paint is original and has a small bit of patina that’s consistent with a well-cared-for car of this era. The interior is in good condition with deep red leather upholstery.
The body of the car is in excellent condition and because the car comes from the San Francisco Bay area, it’s free of the usual rust found on cars of this era. There are only about 73,543 total kilometers (45,965 miles) on the odometer.
The engine in the car is the original. It’s a 3.9-liter V12 engine with six carburetors. That engine is connected to a five-speed manual transmission. The engine currently runs and the car drives well, according to the seller. There is an issue with it overheating, but this is a mild issue and likely a reasonably affordable fix.
At the time of this writing, the car is listed with a price of $119,400. Gullwing Motor Cars in Astoria, New York, is the current seller of the car.
