Ferrari F8 Spider Reviews
The F8 Spider is the drop-top version of the mid-engine F8 Tributo, the latest car in the current Ferrari model lineup. The F8 Spider has a two-piece roof that folds away in a mere 14 seconds. This is mid-engine drop-top motoring done right. The engine in the F8 Spider is hidden from view, but other than an S duct at the front, the car is pretty much the same as the F8 Tributo. In other words, gorgeous.
The 3.9-litre twin turbocharged V8 is a similar unit to the one that first showed up in the Ferrari 488 GTB. It is an award winner many times over. The 3.9-litre V8 makes 710 bhp and 568 lb ft of torque, which is good enough to make it go from 0-60mph in 2.9 sec and onto a top speed of 211 mph. The weight penalty for having the drop top versus coupe is only 150 lbs so I doubt anybody is going to be able to discern any performance issues.
So what is it like to drive? What do the world’s motoring journalists think? Below we have started to add all the Ferrari F8 Spider video reviews that have started to trickle in. Not surprisingly they love it. But today there is more competition in the world of supercars so the real question is what do they think about the F8 Spider in the context of other great option. Watch below and find out.
