Own an Automotive Icon
Of all the Ferrari supercars to own, the F40 is the one that’s the most highly sought after. This is the Prancing Horse approved by Enzo Ferrari. The company only made 1,315 examples. Production ended in 1992, but the legend of the F40 will live on for ages. The car you see here can be yours. It is for sale in Florida at a place called Driving Emotions and in excellent condition.
When I say excellent condition, I mean it. The vehicle only has 193 miles on its odometer. A 1992 car, it is expected to be one of only 213 F40s in the U.S. The car features the mighty 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 that is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The engine produces 471 hp and 426 lb-ft of torque and the five-cog gearbox sends that power to the rear wheels.
The F40 is still fast by today’s standards. It will do a 0-60 mph run in about four seconds, and unlike modern cars, there are no nanny systems to keep you in control. It all depends on you. The price is not listed, but you can bet it is very, very high. If you need to ask, you probably can’t afford it. Still, if I were you, I’d call and ask.
