Earlier this year, Lamborghini’s Centro Stile and Squadra Corse departments premiered a teaser of their track only hypercar with a dyno pull video.
Now, a month and a half later, the first body and track teaser has landed.
Many websites and forums are hinting that the car may be called the Aventador SVJ-R or even Aventador SVR. No matter what it’s called, it is packing some serious angles and aerodynamics.
The hood obviously has a GT style venting system, sucking up air from the track and passing it through radiators before it’s sent over the top of the car.
The rear diffuser looks to be taken straight from the Huracan Evo GT3 race car, sized up for the Aventador style body. The two straight pipe exhausts are also exceptionally prevalent.
The inclusion of a rain light on the rear under the fixed wing stanchions is further evidence that this model may have its own racing or track-day series.
And you can’t forget the sound of that naturally aspirated V12, making 830 HP, as it roars past the pit wall in the teaser. The top down drone shot doesn’t reveal much, but does reveal that the car is low, long, and wide.
We can only hope that more information is coming soon, because we too are suffering from a bit of cabin fever. And who doesn’t want to live vicariously through a Lamborghini hypercar?
