Ferrari has set a new record for themselves!
In their 2019 year end press release, the Marenello based company announced that total vehicle shipments for the 2019 year came in at 10,131 vehicles. This is the first time in the company’s history that more than 10,000 units have been shipped in a single year, and in fact drove Ferrari to a record profit of $1.27 billion Euros, almost a 14% gain over 2018.
The biggest factors for a record setting 2019 was the unprecedented demand for the 812 Superfast, as well as the successful promotion and sale of the Monza SP1 and SP2 special edition cars. The final production year of the 488GTB and 488 Spider also had an effect, as that production wound down, with the 488 Pista and Pista Spider replacing it.
The first models of the F8 Tributo also made their way into the hands, and most likely garages, of a few select VIPs as 2019 came to a close.
Production of the F8 Tributo and F8 Spider will swing into high gear, and the upcoming SF90 Stradale supercar will also roll off the production line in 2020. The newly announced 812 Superfast GTS should also see demand, considering how many of the regular 812 sold in 2019.
All said, Ferrari seems poised to have another great year, and congratulations to them on a superb 2019!
