A UK Version Ready for Action
Jannarelly is a Dubai-based sports car company, and the Design 1 UK Edition is its latest sports car for British Roads. The company unveiled the new car at the Salon Prive. The UK Edition is a UK-only vehicle, obviously with some special colors, features, and decals. The company slapped a price of £115,549 (about $150,00) on the car.
“The UK Edition cars truly reflect Britain’s extensive racing heritage, but utilize the very best of modern materials to offer customers a classic car experience with 21st century engineering and design”, explained co-founder Anthony Jannarelly. He went on to say that he’s excited to welcome UK buyers.
The car gets the same tubular spaceframe chassis and features the same 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine that’s in other versions of the car. The engine puts out 325 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. The car’s power goes through a six-speed manual transmission and is then routed to the rear wheels.
The car can do 0-62 mph in under four seconds. The car also has a top speed of 135 mph. The car is also an absolutely beautiful machine. It’s shapely and has classic lines you won’t see anywhere else.
