[2021 Edition] Current Hypercars On Sale
Everything You Need To Know About 2021 Hypercar Models Including Prices, Specs & Reviews
Updated: January 1st, 2021
Hypercars are the new zenith in today’s automotive landscape, transcending the boundaries of the supercar to create a space occupied only by the most outlandish things that can still be called cars. While some of the relatively larger luxury and exotic car companies have created their own interpretations of the hypercar, many of these vehicles have been crafted by speciality automotive boutiques or singular-focused companies who are looking to showcase new technologies or smash land speed records. It is these very outfits that we will be focusing on, in this list of hypercars that are available to purchase in 2021. In terms of the everyday automobile, none of these will be household names; but they will be more than familiar to those who worship the automotive deities.
Below we have a list of the production focused hypercars versus the race variants that have popped up in recent years. If you are in the market for a hypercar in 2021, the below list includes hypercars we are likely to see sometime in 2022 or even 2023, but we know manufacturers are taking deposits and speccing cars for buyers now. There are several models that we did not include because while they are listed on their manufacturer pages, we know they are sold out or deliveries for 2021 have already been completed. We also didn't dive into the track-special hypercars because this page is more focused on production cars. Hypercars like the Pagani Imola, Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 and Senna GTR are definitely hypercars by definition, but it just felt like they deserved their own space.
What's New for 2021s Hypercars
2021 is an interesting year in terms of hypercars because we are expecting to actually see deliveries of some of the most anticipated hypercars that have been tantalizingly close for the last few years. We should see the Hennessey Venom F5, Rimac C_Two, Aston Martin Valkyrie and Mercedes-AMG Project One this year. In terms of the hypercar regulars like Bugatti and Koenigsegg, we expect to see a number of additional one-off special edition cars being released for special clients.

Engine: 4.0L Cosworth GMA V12
Power: 654 hp
Torque: 334 lb/ft
0-60 mph: TBD
Top Speed: TBD
This is probably going to be the best "old-school" hypercar we will ever see. GMA is helmed by the man who created the legendary McLaren F1. The T.50 features a naturally aspirated V12 engine that was built by Cosworth. This engine powers the rear wheels through a traditional six-speed manual transmission. It has a 12,100 rpm red line, and will act as a stressed member of the chassis. The vehicle will seat three with the driver in a central position. It is super light, minimalist and built purely to be an the best drivers car ever. McLaren F1 Version 2.0.
2021 Lamborghini Sián
Base Price: $3,600,000
Engine: 6.5L V12 + Electric
Power: 808 hp @ @ 8,500 rpm

0-60 mph: 2.8 seconds

The special limited-edition model features a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 and a mild hybrid system. All told the powertrain puts out a whopping 808 hp. The special limited-edition model features a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 and a mild hybrid system. All told the powertrain puts out a whopping 808 hp. There is also a roadster version with cool intelligent air scoops that will deploy automatically from behind the upper side air intakes. They capture incoming cool air and direct it over the engine and exhaust.
2021 Pagani Huayra
Base Price: $2,000,000
Engine: 6.0L Twin Turbo V12
Power: 720 hp @ @ 5,800 rpm
Torque: 738 lb-ft @ 2,250 rpm
0-60 mph: 2.8 seconds
Top Speed: 238 mph
The Pagani Huayra. Gone With the Wind. Today, images and information that were exclusive to print media surfaced online and we can now present the Pagani Huayra. Similar in design to the Zonda, the Huayra uses a Mercedes-sourced engine which has been developed in cooperation with AMG. It’s wrapped in an entirely new chassis which is shorter and made with some of the same techniques as the Zonda R. Naturally, Pagani’s immaculate carbon-fibre weave is everywhere. Available as both a coupe and roadster.
2021 Pagani Huayra BC
Base Price: $3,000,000
Engine: 6.0L Twin Turbo V12
Power: 791 hp @ 5,900 rpm
Torque: 774 lb/ft @ 2,000 rpm
0-60 mph: 2.8 seconds
Top Speed: 238 mph
The Huayra BC is the most technologically advanced Huayra Coupé. It has been around since 2017 and is not just a “restyling” of the Huayra. It’s a car that has a completely different personality to that of the Huayra Coupé. Conceived primarily as road going car that will give the maximum exhilaration and performance during track days and special events, the Huayra BC has been inspired by its “track focused” predecessors. Think of this as the equivalent of the Zonda R but for the Huayra range. Available as both a coupe and roadster.
Ferrari Monza SP1 & SP2
Base price: $1,000,000
Engine: 6.5L naturally aspirated V12
Power: 810 bhp @ 8,500 rpm
Torque: 530 lb-ft @ 7000 rpm
0-60 mph: < 3 sec (est)
Top Speed: 186 mph
Think of classic Ferraris of the 1950s coupled with the most advanced sports car technology available today and you pretty much nailed it. The first iteration of the program is the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2. Both come with a 6.5 liter V12 engine with 810 hp to the rear wheels. Both the Monza SP1 and SP2 are based on the Ferrari 812 Superfast and come with a 6.5 liter V12 engine with 810 hp. Aluminum chassis and carbon fiber body make for a lightweight car and absurd power to weight ration.
2021 Ferrari SP90 Stradale
Base price: $625,000
Engine: 3.9L turbo V8 & 3 electric motors
Power: 989 bhp
Torque: 590 lb-ft
0-60 mph: 2.5 sec
Top Speed:
We saved the "bargain" hypercar for last. The SF90 Stradale is the most powerful (and arguably the most advanced) Ferrari ever made. The plug-in hybrid hypercars has a turbocharged V8 engine coupled with three electric motors to provide almost 1,000 horsepower. The new king of the Ferrari is here. The crazy part is that it is a production series car and it is expected to retail for around the $625k, easily the cheapest car on this list of 2021 hypercars.
2021 Hennessey Venom F5
Base price: $1,600,000
Engine: 6.6L twin-turbocharged V8
Power: 1,817 hp @ 8,000 rpm
Torque: 1,193 lb-ft @ 5,500 rpm
0-60 mph: 1.9 s
Top Speed: 300mph+
If you’re looking for a beast of a performance machine, then you’d better get excited about the Hennessey Venom F5. The all-new car is supposed to be a 300-plus mph supercar and has been in the works for some time now. The specifications are crazy. This engine has been tuned to a whopping 1,817 hp and 1,193 lb-ft of torque. The curb weight for the machine is targeted at 3,000 pounds. With that kind of power to weight ratio, the car should be a freakishly fast machine. Excited to see if it can actually crack 300 mph.
2021 Pininfarina Battista
Base price: $2,500,000
Engine: 4 electric motors
Power: 1,900 hp
Torque: 1,700 lb-ft
0-60 mph: < 2.0 s
Top Speed: 217 mph
Pininfarina has its sights set on producing a car they can call their very own. For the 2021 model year there is a new Battista Anniversario variant, that took lessons learned from aerodynamics and feedback from previous clients, and puts it together in a tarmac-shredding hypercar. Power comes from four independent electric motors, one at each wheel, combined to create 1,900 HP and nearly 1,700 lbs-ft of torque. Top speed has breached 217 mph, and with the use of all new aluminum wheels and new semi-slicks.
2021 SSC Tuatara
Base price: $1,600,000
Engine: 5.9L twin-turbocharged V8
Power: 1,750 hp @ 8,800 rpm
Torque: 1,280 lb-ft @ 6,800 rpm
0-60 mph: 2.4 s
Top Speed: 331mph
The 2021 SSC Tuatara will be force to be reckoned with and is easily the most talked about hypercar of 2021. The SSC just hit 331 mph with their new 1750 horsepower Tuatara only for it all to be surrounded in controversy and the company admitting it was going to try it all again. Either way, the car is a weapon. It has a drag coefficient of 0.279 and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.9L V8 which produces 1,750 hp. We are confident it can probably get close to its said record of 331 mph when it tries again.
2021 Rimac C_Two
Base price: $2,000,000
Engine: 4 electric motors, 120 kWh battery
Power: 1,914 hp
Torque: 1,696 lb-ft
0-60 mph: 1.85 s
Top Speed: 258 mph
Rimac’s CTwo has been lurking in the background of many supercar buyers and enthusiasts’ minds for some time now. The prototype version of what should be the most extreme Rimac yet, was unveiled late in 2019. In 2020 we saw a lot of testing and videos of the new Rimac hypercar and it seems to be on track for launch soon. The C_Two is powered by a series of interlinked batteries with a power rating of 120 kWh, driving four independent electric motors, with one at each wheel. Total combined HP of all the motors is 1,914 HP.
2021 Aston Martin Valkyrie
Base price: $3,000,000 (est.)
Engine: 6.5L V12 hybrid w/ electric
Power: 1,160 hp @ 10,500 rpm
Torque: 664 lb-ft @ 10,500 rpm
0-60 mph: 2.5 s
Top Speed: 250 mph
Aston Martin and Red Bull Advanced Technologies teamed up to create a new hypercar. The production of the car named, Aston Martin Valkyrie, will likely to start in early 19 with only 150 units of being produced. The Valkyrie will come out as a no compromise, high performance machine. An incredibly special car with an equally remarkable name. One that immediately evokes connotations of power and honor, of being chosen by the Gods. Valkyrie is Aston Martin’s first ever hypercar and it leaves nothing in reserve.
Mercedes-AMG Project One
Base price: TBD
Engine: 1.6L V6 hybrid powertrain
Power: >1,000 hp
Torque: TBD
0-60 mph: TBD
Top Speed: 217+ mph
The Project One has an F1-derived 1.6 liter V6 hybrid powertrain which gives it a total power output of over 1,000 hp and a maximum speed of over 217 mph. The hypercar also features an electric turbocharger, four electric motors and 11,000 rpm redline and an idle speed of 4000 rpm. It also gets Variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive with hybrid-drive rear axle, electrically driven front axle and torque vectoring. The Project ONE will combine stunning racetrack performance and practical Formula 1 hybrid technology.
2021 Lotus Evija
Base price: $2,100,000
Engine: Dual electric motor
Power: 1,973 hp
Torque: TBD
0-60 mph: < 3 s
Top Speed: 200 mph
Lotus has been hyping the Evija, going as far as saying that the Evija will be a “mind-blowing supercar”. That’s a direct quote from Lotus CEO Phil Popham, by the way. In 2019, you only successfully blow minds with numbers and specs that keep (ultra-rich) enthusiasts’ jaws glued to the floor. In many ways, it’s lived up to the hype from the company’s CEO. The car features two electric motors to achieve its power output, and the battery is placed in the middle of the car where a typical internal combustion mid-engine car would have its beating heart, meaning this helps with weight distribution.
2021 Koenigsegg Regera
Base price: $1,900,000
Engine: 5.0L TT V8 + 3 electric motors
Power: 1,341 hp
Torque: 922 lb-ft
0-60 mph: 2.5 s
Top Speed: 250 mph
The 2021 Koenigsegg Regera is definitely one of the hybrid supercars. Koenigsegg launched at the 2015 Geneva Motor and since then it generated too much hype among many car lovers and enthusiasts. Besides a regular engine, the Koenigsegg Regera also carries an electric unit which gives out 700 horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque with 9 kWh liquid cooled battery. As a result, the car now has an amazing 1,341 horsepower, simply making it the most powerful hybrid supercar in the world. Its combustion engine is a 5.0 liter V8 which produces an out-of-this-world 1,100 horsepower and 922 lb-ft of torque.
2021 Koenigsegg Jesko
Base price: $2,800,000
Engine: 5.0L Twin-Turbo V8
Power: 1280hp (regular), 1600hp (biofuel)
Torque: 738 lb-ft
0-60 mph: 2.5 s
Top Speed: 250 mph
Koenigsegg’s new Jesko hypercar, named after his father who helped him start his company, claims over 300 mph as its top speed. While Koenigsegg hasn’t proven this in the real world, in simulations, the Agera successor has achieved it and the company thinks it’s true. There are two different versions of the car. Koenigsegg designed one for a high speed run to make the 300 mph, and one with some serious downforce for the racetrack. No matter the variant, you get a new carbon fiber and aluminum chassis, new suspension setup, redesigned engine, and a special gearbox.
Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut
Base price: $2,800,000
Engine: 5.0L Twin-Turbo V8
Power: 1280hp (regular), 1600hp (biofuel)
Torque: 738 lb-ft
0-60 mph: 2.5 s
Top Speed: 250+ mph
In 2020, Koenigsegg announced the Jesko Absolut. Every surface element on the Jesko Absolut has been purposefully constructed to reduce drag or surrounding turbulence around the car while increasing high-speed stability. Although just as powerful, the Jesko Absolut is a more seamless and stealthier interpretation of the Jesko, its track-focused sibling. Both the Jesko (track-oriented version) and the Jesko Absolut (high-speed version) will be powered by a 1280 bhp (1600 bhp on E85), twin turbo charged V8 engine.
2021 Koenigsegg Gemera
Base price: $2,000,000
Engine: 2.0L three-cylinder + 3 electric
Power: 1700hp
Torque: 2,581 lbs-ft
0-60 mph: 1.9 s
Top Speed: 250+ mph
Hinted at for a long time under the codename KG12, the latest Koenigsegg megacar has been revealed: The 2021 Koenigsegg Gemera. The Gemera is Koenigsegg’s first proper 2+2 GT car, or, due to the power it produces, mega-GT. More space, more luggage room, more experiences with more friends. The car outputs a combined total of 1.27 MW of power, or 1,700 HP, and 2,581 lbs-ft of torque. The powertrain is a small 2 liter, three cylinder engine plus three electric motors. Likely we won't see it until 2022.
