The Continental GT Inspired by Bentley’s Win at Pikes Peak
The Bentley Continental GT beat the record for the Pikes Peak Hillclimb. We reported about the run when it happened, and now Bentley has a new version of the car to celebrate that historic run up the mountain. The vehicle is the Limited Edition Continental GT and Bentley just recently revealed the car.
The model is based on the top-of-the-line version of the Continental GT with the twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine that makes 626 hp. The car also gets standard 22-inch alloy wheels and a carbon fiber aero package that consists of a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and a lip spoiler.
The car is available in black or Radium Green metallic. The car also gets black inserts on the bumper, trunk lid, roof, and side mirrors. Those alloy wheels are also painted black. The car also gets an Acid Green finish on the brake calipers and special Pirelli tires with a Radium Green stripe on the sidewall.
In addition to all that, customers can have 100 painted on the black mesh grille that celebrates Bentley’s centenary year. The interior of the car is all gloss carbon fiber, Alcantara with green stitching, and other green inserts. A Bang & Olufsen sound system is installed in the cabin as well.
The price for this vehicle has not yet been stated by Bentley in the press release. However, the company has said that it will only do a 15-unit production run, so this is a super rare car, indeed.
