1954 Jaguar XK120

Will Someone Please Save This 1954 Jaguar XK120 That’s up for Auction?

It’s Up for Auction

When the Jaguar XK120 came onto the scene in the late 1940s, it was the fastest production car in the world. The vehicle still has a fond place in the hearts of many car collectors and can fetch well into the six figures when sold in good condition. The car you see here isn’t in good condition, and it needs saving.

The vehicle is a literal barn find. The car sat in a barn in Wales for the past 50 years. It was made in 1954 and has only had two different owners over the course of its life. It’s one of 151 RHD fixed-head coupe examples that were sold in the UK market. Of those 151 cars that sold, only 57 are believed to be in existence today. This is one of them and it needs your tender loving care.

The car is for sale on TheMarket an online auction site. The auction will take place from November 20 to 27. The seller has taken pictures of just about every angle of the car and there’s even a pretty cool video of the car to check out. If you’ve been looking for a project to take on, this one would be a big one, but it would be so satisfying to return this car to its former glory.
