A Celebratory Model
Designed to celebrate Roush Performance’s founder, Jack Roush, into the NASCAR Hall of Fame, the Jack Roush Edition Mustang is a wild muscle car. The vehicle features a 5.0-liter V8 engine that has had a Roush Phase 3 TVS R2650 supercharger added to it. This allows the engine to make 755 hp and 670 lb-ft of torque. That’s GT500 territory.
The car isn’t just equipped with more power. The model features four different exhaust modes thanks to a unique active exhaust. There’s also an upgraded cooling system to keep the thing from blowing up. The cooling system cools the engine, transmission, and differential.
The car also features MagneRide suspension, lowered springs, forged wheels, Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires, and high-performance Brembo brakes. The Mustang also got some exterior reworking, including an R9 Aero Kit, a graphics package, additional vents, and a rear wing.
Not enough? Get the Competition Pack and you’ll also get Weld Racing wheels with Continental ExtremeContact DR racing slicks. Carscoops reported that the car can pull up to 1.14g on the skidpad with this setup. The interior of the car gets suede sport seats with contrast stitching and a Roush gear knob as well as special badging. Only 60 of the cars will be made.
