2020 BMW M2 CS

With a Manual and Improved Suspension

The BMW M2 CS is a step above the M2 Competition. It offers more power and improved performance. Oh, and a manual transmission. Automotive purists, rejoice! The M2 CS comes with tweaked looks, too, and is the smallest super-fast sports car from BMW right now.

The car features a turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine that makes 444 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. That’s a bump of 39 more hp than the M2 Competition. The best news about this car, though, is that it can be had with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic or six-speed manual transmission. the car is faster to 60 mph with the automatic and can do the run in just 3.8 seconds. The top speed is 174 mph. According to Motor1, the numbers could become even more impressive by the time the car hits production.

The M2 CS gets an active differential, adaptive suspension, three drive modes (Comfort, Sport, and Sport+), M carbon-ceramic brakes, 19-inch wheels, and Michelin Cup 2 tires. The exterior components of the car feature carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Parts that this material features on include the front splitter, roof, rear spoiler, mirrors, rear diffuser, and hood. The M2 CS will make its debut later this month at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
