It’s a Dreary Day but a Beautiful Car
The SSC Tautara hypercar is an insane machine that’s built to compete with vehicles like the Koenigsegg Jesko, Bugatti Chiron Sport, and other crazy machines capable of insane speeds. These cars, and specifically the Tautara, are also extremely beautiful machines. The latest video of the Tautara from SSC shows it doing what it does best on a twisty road.
The Tautara features a 5.9-liter twin-turbo V8 that makes 1,750 hp on E85 fuel. It’s paired to a 7-speed automated manual transmission. The car can do a 0-60 mph run in just 2.5 seconds, according to The Supercar Blog. It is one of the hypercars in the running for breaking the 300 mph mark. Bugatti has already done so in a version of its Chiron, but the company didn’t get that run verified by the folks who keep track of the records, so the official title is still up for grabs.
The Tautara is an amazing car, and you can really get a good look at the machine in the video below. While it looks like they picked a very overcast day to shoot the video, the car is extremely impressive. We can’t wait to see more from this amazing hypercar.
