The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is the most powerful and expensive Mustang to date. The car features a 5.2-liter V8 that puts out 760 hp and 625 lb-ft of torque. The car can do a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds and can do a quarter-mile in under 11 seconds.
The power from that massive engine goes to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission. The transmission is made by Tremec, and is a dual-clutch unit. According to the various reviews, it does a fantastic job sorting the power and choosing the right gear.
