McLaren Denver Commissioned These Beauties
There are six McLaren 600LT Spiders built by McLaren Special Operations for the Pikes Peak Collection. Each of the cars is unique. Each of them features either the MSO Bespoke or MSO Heritage paintwork.
The colors include Black Gold, White Gold, Nerello Red, Volcano Red, Aurora Blue, and Midas Grey. Satin Gold also features on the steering wheel, paddle shifters, and contrast stitching. In short, these are very special McLaren 600LT Spiders, and they’re exactly the kinds of cars we want in the world.
You can also add the MSO Club Sport Pack to these cars. The Sport Pack adds carbon-fiber cantrails, carbon fiber front fender louvers, and titanium wheel bolts. It also adds things like the super-lightweight carbon-fiber racing seats from the Senna.
The owner of McLaren Denver, Mike Ward, expressed his excitement about the models. “It’s really special for us to be able to offer a car like the 600LT Spider, which is already quite special itself with its Longtail heritage, and tie it into Pikes Peak, a race that is so significant to Colorado residents, as well as the racing community globally,” he said.
The 600LT Spiders in the Pikes Peak Collection will get the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that’s in the coupe. The engine produces 592 HP and 457 lb-ft of torque. The changes to these cars do not impact the engine’s performance.
