The lineup has gained two notable additions for 2024: The second EV from Stuttgart with the all-electric Macan, and the revamped, facelifted Panamera. Surprisingly, the outgoing Panamera posted one of its strongest sales years in 2023, moving 34,020 deliveries across the globe. The new Panamera was announced in November 2023, and the two base specifications, the Panemera and Panamera 4, are already taking orders with an expected Summer production. There will also be a 4 E-Hybrid, 4S E-Hybrid, and Turbo E-Hybrid as part of Porsche's move towards EV and hybrid powertrains before 2030.

The 718 is Porsche entry-level model. It is an exceptional sports cars package that is perfect for the daily driving and more spirited runs on weekends. Great balance, plenty of poke and pure driving enjoyment. What else could you want in a sports car? As we’ve become accustomed to over the years, Porsche’s 718 cars are available in both hardtop Cayman and drop-top Boxster guises. The good news recently is that the four-cylinder boxer engines that left us wanting more have now been joined by 4.0-litre flat sixes in the potent GTS models and the special-edition Spyder and GT4 cars.
718 Cayman Range
2024 Porsche 718 Cayman Lineup
In typical Porsche fashion, the 2024 718 Cayman range is offered in up to five different variants, allowing customers more freedom to choose based on budget and other considerations. The entry-level 718 Cayman is at one end of the spectrum, and performance rapidly ramps up as you move on to the top-of-the-line Cayman GT4 RS at the other end.
Updates for 2024
The 718 Cayman range has been spiced up with the punchy Cayman GT4 RS model, powered by a high-revving engine sourced from the acclaimed 911 GT3 RS. 2023 saw the arrival of the the Style Edition, a mildly upgraded base 718 Cayman that has a color contrasting grey and black paint job, blacked out exhaust pipes, and blacked out 20 inch wheels, a trim that has carried over to 2024.

The base Cayman is still a tasty proposition with its turbo 2.0-liter flat-four good for 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. It is perfect for the Porsche enthusiast who wants some fun without necessarily breaking the bank.
The Style Edition is a mildly upgraded base spec 718 Cayman, mostly with aesthetic and cosmetic changes. In terms of actual mechanical differences, the biggest one is the fitting of 20 inch rims, and some special trim pieces inside including upgraded sport seats, stainless steel illuminated sill plates, and a fully blacked out interior aesthetic.

The GT4 RS is the newest addition to the Cayman family. It is also the only GT4 model currently available for the Cayman in 2024, as the "regular" GT4 has been discontinued.
718 Boxster Range

The Porsche Boxster now has six variants, from the entry-level Boxster to the all-new Boxster Spyder RS . The 718 Boxster shares its powertrains and underpinnings with the Cayman coupe. However, with the Boxster, there's the open top and the feeling of wind rushing in your hair. The base models come with a turbocharged four-cylinder, but it's the optional flat-six that will tempt speed seekers.

The 718 Boxster gained the Style Edition in 2023, a trim that carries over to 2024. The top of the line Spyder RS is still the ultimate Boxster, now using the 4.0L engine from the Cayman GT4 RS.

The 718 Spyder RS sits in its own class with an engine as powerful as the one offered in the Cayman GT4 RS. The biggest difference is the ability to drop the top down so you can hear the sonorous howl of the engine as it redlines at 9,000 RPM, and feel the active aerodynamics of the body push it down hard into the road. The entire front end has been carefully shaped to slip through the air, and the buttressed tonneau cover is shaped to suck air back over the lip spoiler of the car, instead of creating a vortex over the cockpit, which helps it scream to 60 MPH in just 3.3 seconds.

The greatness continues. Even after 5+ decades, Porsche has shown that the 911 can still be improved (even while retaining the same iconic design that has defined the car from inception to date). For 2022, the 911 is available in over 20 different configurations, covering trim level, body style, and powertrain combinations.
911 Updates for 2024
Not many updates to the standard 911 cars have occurred for 2024. However, a limited edition 911 S/T was offered to Porsche preferred customers in 2023, which like the Sport Classic before it, is a celebration of Porsche history. It combines the GT3 RS's engine, the body of a GT3 Touring, and only comes with a manual transmission. All 1,963 cars were sold within days of orders being offered, and it will be produced throughout 2024 and delivered to customers.

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the hardest-core version of the 911 you can buy. Pushing the 4.0L naturally aspirated flat-six to its maximum, the RS takes no prisoners and is designed to be used primarily on the track, courtesy of its massive wing, smooth underbody aerodynamics, and no-frills-just-driving interior aesthetic. For those wanting to push a little further, the $33,520 optional Weissach Package replaces many panels with carbon fiber or carbon composite pieces, replaces the lightweight aluminum alloy wheels with featherweight magnesium alloy ones, all of which contribute to 33 lbs in weight savings.
For the truly unhinged, however, there is the option to spend nearly $60,000 on top of the $241,300 price of the GT3 RS and have the car fettled, tuned, and upgraded by the Porsche-owned Manthey Racing company, creating the GT3 RS MR. A true track monster, it has been designed with only one purpose in mind, that being to obliterate lap records the world over. It's extremely expensive, but if you have the money and have some private track days, there are few cars that can beat a GT3 RS fitted with the Manthey Racing kit.

Announced in 2023, the Porsche 911 S/T is a celebration of the storied history of the model on its 60th anniversary. Since the 911 was developed from the lightweight racing models of the 356, it only makes sense that the S/T is the lightest Type 992 911 yet, at a scant 1,404 kg (3,096 lbs). It gains the 4.0L naturally aspirated engine from the GT3 model, but uses the GT3 touring body. Unlike the GT3 models, there is no PDK option, so those that ordered any one of the 1,963 production slots in August 2023 had to already know how to drive a 6 speed manual or learn rather quickly! It will catapult to 60 MPH in 3.5 seconds, and comes with a bespoke, S/T only livery in the customer's choice of colors.

2024 Porsche Taycan Lineup
Porsche only entered the EV segment with the launch of the Taycan in 2019. It remains the carmaker's sole EV, but it's rapidly gone on to become one of the most successful vehicles in the lineup, ranking only behind the Macan and Cayenne in terms of sales. In 2021, Porsche Taycan sales more than doubled 2020's tally, with a total of 41,296 units sold, and it outsold the 911 in 2022 by a few thousand units. Not bad for a EV!
Taycan Updates for 2024
There will be a facelifted version of the Taycan around the end of Q2 2024. It will not gain any more performance or power over the current models, only truly affecting the nose of the car to add a bit more front motor cooling with the side intakes, while also separating them from under the headlights to smooth out the front bumper area. The Macan GTS is the most expensive Macan and, unsurprisingly, the most powerful. The 434-hp 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 pairs well with a quick-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel-drive for a thrilling experience behind the wheel. The crossover is officially rated at 4.3 seconds to reach 60 mph. However, the car has proven to be much quicker in real-world tests, hitting 60 mph in under 4 seconds.
The Macan 4 Electric is the second EV in Porsche's lineup, sharing the same underpinnings as the Taycan 4. It has the same motors, but upgraded power output as the CUV is naturally slightly heavier than the sedan. This upgraded power gives it a sub-5 second 0 to 60 time when using launch control. As the battery pack is naturally larger as well, it has an estimated range of 381 miles in mixed highway/city driving.
If the Macan 4 Electric is a bit too slow for you at 4.9 seconds to 60 mph, the Macan Turbo Electric is your answer. Using an upgraded version of the Taycan Turbo setup, it produces up to 630 HP when using launch control, and runs at a nominal 576 HP. It's the monstrous, continuous 833 lb-ft of torque on hand that makes this one very rapid CUV. The Panamera continues to be a strong model for the Porsche brand, but for 2024 has had a complete model line revamp and facelift. As it stands, there are two trims on sale at the time of this writing in February 2024. Three more trims are planned to be released in the first half of 2024, and Executive trim versions are expected as early as Q4 2024, but are likely to be coming in 2025. The Cayenne is often credited for saving Porsche from financial collapse in the early 2000s. Today, it continues to lead the line with its strong sales performance, outpacing even the venerable 911 in total units sold per year. Porsche currently offers the Cayenne in as many as 14 different variants, with a decent mix of powertrains and capabilities. SUV vs Coupe - Explaining the Body Styles
The Cayenne now has two body styles. The regular SUV that we all know and love. This is the traditional SUV shape with four doors, the most space and a high back at the rear. Powertrains & Variants
E-Hybrid. The mix of sustainability and driving dynamics brings a smile to any sports car enthusiast. They can look forward to blistering hybrid technology in a car with space for the entire family.
S. The 'S' stands for Sport. It means the Cayenne model boasts a more sharper driving style and power compared to the regular model.
Turbo. The good ol' Turbo powertrain has a twin-turbo V8. It is a great engine that provides an intense adrenaline rush with abundant torque and intoxicating sound. Tuned like a sports car, the Turbo also offers the most aggressive driving character in the Cayenne range.
