2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed – Forest Rally Stage Highlights
While the hillclimb may be the main attraction at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, rally fans like us get most excited about the Forest Rally Stage. Dirt flying and rally icons getting airborne as they tear around the course is about the most fun we’ve had in years.
The rally stage offers spectators the rare chance to see both historic and contemporary rally cars carving their way through the challenging tree-lined stage.
A network of paths through the woods means spectators can get up close to the noise and sideways fury of the cars as they tackle the special stage against the clock. This year, the guys are Carscoops.com got some amazing images (see below) that we wanted to share.
The paddock area, meanwhile, provides a great opportunity for enthusiasts to inspect the cars and meet the teams, including many famous drivers, in that friendly spirit that rallying does so well.
