1953 Lancia Appia Sport
In 1956 Lancia made a platform chassis availble to outside coachbuilers such as Zagato that made the Appia Sport also known as the Appia GT, Appia GTS and Appia GTE which stood for Gran Turismo Esportazione.
Zagato’s lightweight construction matched the somewhat diminutive Appia output which ranged from 48 bhp to 60 bhp depending on year of construction.
