The 427cid/425hp was the best version of Ford Galaxie, and the car which Holman & Moody raced in NASCAR. Some unique road cars were prepped by Holman & Moody as lightweight street racecars.

New Raven Black paint and new Black interior and split bench seat. All new chrome. HiPo spinner wheel covers. AM/FM push button radio. Front and rear bumper guards. Dual outside mirrors. 1963 Ford Galaxie 500XL Fastback R-Code 427/425 HP – sold for $47,500. 1963 Ford Galaxie R-Code. Frame-up restoration several years back. Rebuilt period correct 427/425 HP dual quad engine. NOS short block including rods, pistons, oil pan, valves, springs, correct exhaust headers, intake manifold, fuel lines, air cleaner and valve covers. NOS 11 1/2″ clutch and pressure plate. NOS 4.11 Ford rear gear with new Detroit locker, new bearings and 31 spline axles. Great color combination in rare Turquoise paint and matching interior. 15-5.5″ Kelsey Hayes steel wheels with correct little Ford hubcaps. Complete trunk with correct floor mat, wheel, tire and jack.
