Auction Sales History
1930 Pierce-Arrow Model B Phaeton 2025037 – sold for €69,000. Dating from January 1930, this exceptionally original eight-cylinder Model B Phaeton is understood to have previously formed part of the collection belonging to a long-time Pierce-Arrow Society member. When he died, the car passed to his son, who exhibited it at the Pierce-Arrow National Meet in 1989. It was then sold to Mark Smith (see New Hampshire Certificate of Title on file). 1930 Pierce-Arrow Model B Five-Passenger Sedan 123379 – did not sell for $44,000. This 1930 Model B Sedan was fully restored a number of years ago. The exterior paint, black with white pin striping, remains excellent and the brightwork similarly exhibits no flaws. The wooden artillery wheels have varnished spokes and chrome retaining rings for the wide whitewall tires and the car is further enhanced by dual side mounted spare tires and a trunk rack at the rear. The interior is upholstered in crimson mohair with a new matching headliner and carpet and the interior wood trim has all been refinished, accenting the doors and windows nicely. The engine and chassis are nicely detailed as well but are not over-restored. Auction Source: 2009 Meadow Brook Concours
