1939 HRG 1200 Airline Coupé
In 1938 HRG were experimenting with a new Coupé design that resulted in this striking Airline Coupé.
It was manufactured on a prototype chassis that was widened to accept the Triumph 1.2-liter engine.
Crofts Coachbuilding was responsible for fitting a body similar the MG Airline Coupé on the HRG chassis.
Unfortunately any series production plans were immediately halted by the onset of war, and the Airline Coupé became a one-of.
