1960 Chevrolet Corvette
Although they were outwardly identical to the 1959 model, the 1960 Corvette got a few upgrades under the skin. These included new sway bars and an aluminum clutch.
Like all Corvettes of the period it was powered by Chevrolet’s small block V8 engine with 230 to 315 horsepower depending on the options. These were matched to either a 4-speed manual or 2-speed Powerglide automatic.
The 1960 was the last model year to use an extensive amount of chrome and the last to use the toothed grill. The rear taillights were also recessed into the curved fenders.
