Just How Fast is a Ferrari 488 GTB?
It took us a long time before we were able to find out what a Ferrari 488 GTB can really do on a racetrack. But this time around, we finally got to see it.
Watch as the Evo magazine from the UK gives us an exclusive look of the Ferrari 488 GTB shows off its power in the Anglesey circuit.
Many car enthusiasts and experts have missed the 458. This was largely in part of its naturally-aspirated V8 engine. The 458 was also noted to be the last Ferrari car to feature a natural-aspirated engine since the Italian supercar manufacturer has now switched to turbocharging for its next generation.
The 458 was widely considered one of the greatest products of mechanical engineering. Its 4.5-litre V8 engine was very superb at that time. As a result, many people were a bit skeptical particularly about the power of the 488 GTB since it now features turbocharging. But when the 488 GTB came out, it became very clear to everyone that it is far more superior than its predecessor. Everyone now loves it twin-turbo 3.9-litre engine as it performs much better than the 4.5-litre V8 engine in the 458 in every metric.
We never had the chance to see just how fast a 488 GTB is in a track, up until now. Kudos for the guys in the Evo magazine for showing us just how fast this sports car is.
