2014 Lexus RC F GT500

In the top category of Japanese car racing, Lexus Racing will compete in the GT500 class with the new Lexus “RC F” with a 2-liter four-cylinder RI4AG direct-injection gasoline turbo engine to meet changes in vehicle specification rules this year. Support is provided by Toyota Technocraft Co., Ltd.

Teams for 2014 include LEXUS TEAM ZENT CERUMO with drivers Yuji Tachikawa and Kohei Hirate; LEXUS TEAM PETRONAS TOM’S with drivers Kazuki Nakajima and James Rossiter; LEXUS TEAM LeMans ENEOS with drivers Kazuya Oshima and Yuji Kunimoto; LEXUS TEAM KeePer TOM’S with drivers Daisuke Ito and Andrea Caldarelli and finally LEXUS TEAM SARD with drivers Hiroaki Ishiura and Oliver Jarvis.

Toyota Racing will compete in the GT300 class with a Toyota “Prius” hybrid.
