2013 Novitec Torado Aventador LP 700-4
NOVITEC ROSSO for the sports cars from Ferrari, NOVITEC TRIDENTE for Maserati automobiles and now NOVITEC TORADO: with this business division NOVITEC GROUP now also offers exclusive refinement for the latest Lamborghini sports cars.
For starters there is a complete program for the Aventador. The mid-engine sports car is made even more spectacular with an aerodynamic-enhancement kit developed in the wind tunnel, and high-tech forged wheels. Engine tuning soon to be topped by a Bi-compressor engine with some 1000 hp is also part of the NOVITEC TRODADO portfolio, as are high-performance exhaust systems with electronic sound management, a coil-over suspension and exclusive interior options.
Making the striking design of the Lamborghini Aventador even more spectacular was a task brilliantly mastered by the NOVITEC TORADO designers. On a car as fast as this aerodynamic efficiency is crucial, even more so than its looks. The NOVITEC TORADO aerodynamic-enhancement components can be painted in vehicle or contrasting color. They are all also available in a clear-coated carbon-fiber version.
New body components sophisticated in every detail lend the front section an even more striking appearance. But that’s not all: the components also demonstrated in the wind tunnel that they reduce negative lift on the front axle and thus further improve handling stability at high speeds. The front fascia receives an upgrade with the two-piece NOVITEC TORADO front spoiler on the left and right, the central front blade and newly designed air intakes. The aerodynamic-enhancement concept also includes a new trunk lid with integrated air ducts and the new air vents in front of the windshield.
The side view is redefined by the NOVITEC TORADO rocker panels, the carbon-fiber mirror covers and the new side air intakes on the rear windows.
The rear of the refined Aventador is dominated by the NOVITEC TORADO rear wing, which is available in two versions and increases downforce on the rear axle. The sophisticated aerodynamic-enhancement concept is characterized by a new diffuser for the rear fascia. The diffuser can be expanded into a particularly efficient double diffuser with an additional component. In addition, there are new, larger air intakes and outlets for the hood, which in concert with the new air vents in the rear ensure optimized ventilation of the engine compartment.
The NOVITEC TORADO wheels for the Lamborghini feature an equally unique design: the three-piece NL1 alloy wheels are manufactured using state-of-the-art forging technology. They impress with their delicate five-twin-spoke design and are engineered to fill out the available space under the wheel arches perfectly. The front axle is fitted with size 9Jx20 wheels and 255/30 ZR 20 Pirelli P-Zero high-performance tires. At the rear size 355/25 ZR 21 tires are mounted on size 13Jx21 rims.
The NOVITEC TORADO sports suspension for the Aventador is not only height-adjustable, it also offers adjustable dampers. As an alternative NOVITEC TORADO sells sports springs that lower the ride height of the two-seater by some 30 millimeters.
It goes without saying that NOVITEC TORADO also offers engine tuning for the top-of-the-line Lamborghini model. In a first step there is conventional tuning for the V12 engine rated at 515 kW / 700 hp. The tuning delivers up to 35.3 kW / 48 hp more power courtesy of newly calibrated engine electronics with special mapping for ignition and injection, and the NOVITEC TORADO high-performance exhaust system. What is more, the development of a Bi-compressor engine producing some 736 kW / 1000 hp is running at full steam.
The NOVITEC TORADO exhaust systems with new design and quasi three-and-a-half tailpipes – the two center pipes are connected – are also available without engine tuning. The exhaust system is available made from stainless steel or from the even lighter INCONEL material used in Formula 1 racing. Customers can choose between the versions with or without exhaust-flap control – optionally even at the push of a button in the cockpit. The program also includes lighter and more efficient sports catalysts. In addition to optimizing the power output, NOVITEC TORADO’s high-performance exhaust systems also provide the option of saving up to 26 kilograms in weight compared with the production system.
Another focal point of the refinement program is the interior. Clear-coated carbon-fiber trim from the door panels to the cover of the instrument cluster are part of the range of customization options as are high-quality all-leather interiors crafted from the finest leathers and Alcantara in any desired color.
Prestigious audio specialist Revox from Switzerland developed the audio system for the Aventador exclusively for NOVITEC TORADO. Building on a wealth of experience in designing recording studios, Revox has designed an audio system that combines tremendous sound quality with endless power.
