2013 Lexus IS 350 F Sport
Toyota City, Japan, January 10, 2013—Lexus announces that the new Lexus “IS” sports sedan is to make its world premiere at the North American International Auto Show scheduled to be held in Detroit, United States from January 14 through January 27*. Vehicle specifications and other details will be announced on January 15.
The “F Sport” performance grade—the entry level of the Lexus “F” series sports vehicle lineup—features exclusive interior and exterior designs to present an outstanding sporty image and will be available for the “IS 250”, “IS 350” models, as well as the newly-introduced “IS 300h” hybrid model.
The F Sport exterior employs Lexus’ signature spindle grille and headlamps accented with independent L-shaped clearance lamps, creating a dynamic front view. Specially designed 18-inch aluminum wheels give the F Sport grade a powerful and refined look befitting a sports sedan.
The IS F Sport seeks to evoke images of the superior driving performance expected from the F series and is fitted with exclusive sports seats with firm hold and impressive styling—made through a production method never before used in any Lexus vehicle—and a movable instrument cluster inherited from the Lexus “LFA” supercar.
