2010 Scarab Continuation Car
In 2010, Scarab Motorsports managed by Brighton Motorsports in Scottsdale, Arizona, began production of a Scarab replica. Included with the $79,750 kit is a aluminum body, frame, brakes, wiring harness, and interior with Stewart Warner gauges.
The company will paint the body in either the Scarab MK I or Scarab MK II scheme. Fitted with Corvette brake calipers, a cast-iron engine and a T10 transmission, the car is approved for SVRA sanctioned events. Furthermore, the company can offer a new EFI-version of the original’s canted throttle-body fuel injection system.
Company Info
Modeled after the specifications of the Scarab as it raced in 1958 – The Year of the Scarab – the new version of this legendary car features a body that is constructed in Poland, using the most durable aircraft aluminum. The New Scarab comes with a variety of options including leather interior, roll bar, tire upgrades, custom paint selections, and more. This allows you to design the Scarab most suited to your individual needs, with all the visual beauty of the original car.
The Scarab Component Vehicle is offered as a rolling chassis that does not include an engine, transmission, drive shaft, exhaust system, or battery. The rolling chassis DOES include standard paint in a choice of two blues with traditional white scallop.
