2009 Lola B09/70 Daytona Prototype
Lola has a rich and successful history in sportscars. At the end of 2007 Lola announced a significant new sportscar programme in Grand-Am, a growing, thriving series based in the US.
Lola’s future ambitions of continuing the success it has achieved in so many motorsport disciplines can be clearly seen in its early Grand-Am encounters. Exactly forty years ago, Penske Racing won the Daytona 24 Hours in a Lola T70 MkIIIB. The lineage of Lola sportscars have evolved through the ages and so has American sportscar racing, to the point now where two superb racing series can co-exist, side by side in the US.
Other installations will be accommodated for all manufacturers engines, as required and there has already been significant interest. There is also the potential for us to produce a unique body for a manufacturer if required.
