At the car’s official debut at at the 2008 Barcelona 1000kms, one of the LC70s featured all-new bodywork.
The new package was a second faster around the circuit but was still off pace with front-running diesel cars. Again in 2009, the factory works cars were again upgraded with circular front brake ducts.
