Porsche/RS-Caldera 9f1 Turbo with active suspension
This very special automobile starts with a flat aluminum honeycomb/carbon kevlar underbody with carbon front splitter and rear diffuser and works its way up from there. Combining the all wheel drive of a 996 Turbo with an active (DES) suspension makes for a formidable package with capabilities beyond any normal road car. Integrated into the honeycomb underbody is a rear roll cage for added stiffness and safety.
To drive this car is to drive a Porsche like non other. Off the line, the massive pull of the 9ff tuned, 767 hp engine, is controlled by the anti-squat capability of the suspension. Your off and on your way with minimal fuss. Once the binders are utilized, the anti-dive qualities are very noticeable. Turn in is sharp and nimble as the active suspension system automatically changes spring rate on all four corners along with integrating active roll control. The more you pull the wheel over, the stronger the physics of the DES enhanced suspension system come into play. Ramp access is controlled on demand by a 10” touch screen, raising the car upwards of 5 to 7 inches. Springs can be also softened electronically for rough road manageability. All this without sacrificing the feel of a coil sprung car…
E-Suspension
E-Suspension is the first Active-Suspension design that works seamlessly with any existing air suspension or traditional suspension equipped vehicle, offering the performance and safety additives of electronic anti-roll, anti-dive, and anti-squat control. Our full system is the first and only active suspension designed to augment and not replace current suspension design. In this way, our system does for conventional suspension designs what ABS does for conventional braking designs, adding an extra layer of control and safety. Previous attempts at active control were designed to replace standard elements with complex and expensive hydraulic actuators with little or no built in fail-safe functions.
The business plan for E-Suspension is to market the product to high-end automobile manufactures and owners and then let the product filter down through the industry much in the same ABS has over the last fifteen years.
Real Time Software
In combination with micro-controllers, electronic valve actuators, accelerometers, and ride height sensors, our proprietary software controls vehicle attitude with instantaneous precision, offering a seamless experience for the operator. The system can be controlled with a touch screen or a basic, push-button input device.
