2007 Goodwood Festival of Speed

The world’s biggest and most prestigious historic motorsport event. A hillclimb and concours d’elegance held in the picturesque grounds of Goodwood House, West Sussex. Every type of car competes, from chain-drive Edwardian racers to modern works, Formula 1 and world rally cars.

The “City of Glendale Spl.”, driven by Dick Rathmann was the first A. J. Watson creation to make the Indy 500 (1950) starting grid, after two failed attempts in 1948 and 49. Rathmann started 18th and finished 32nd.
