2006 Spitzer Indy Boat-Tail Roadster
October 31st, 2006, Las Vegas – This distinctive street rod represents a collaborative effort between noted designer Thom Taylor and highly respected car builder Mike Spitzer. Styling homage can be traced to the famed Auburn Speedster of the 1930s and the Indycars of the era.
The Indy Boat-Tail Roadster’s sleek lines are clearly a departure from the norm, and a refreshing alternative to the ‘me to’ world of Duece replicas. It’s nimble, great handling, and can accommodate a wide variety of power train packages.
Mike Spitzer’s first-of-the-line Indy Boat is powered by a small block Chevy engine coupled to a Turbo Hydro 350 transmission.
