2005 TechArt 911 Carrera

Alongside sales of the new 997-series Porsche 911 Carrera, TechArt Automobildesign offers an extensive customization program.

TechArt’s engine tuning is extended to both the Carrera and Carrera S. These power kits consist of a sport air filter combined with newly programmed engine electronics. After the installation, which can be done directly at TechArt or by any authorized Porsche dealer, maximum power increases by 20 bhp (14.7 kw).

As a complement to the power kits, Tech Art offers a range of exhaust tuning. The lineup includes dual oval tailpipes, a throttle-controlled sport exhaust system or a complete high-performance system with high-performance manifold, sport catalysts and rear muffler.

‘Sporty elegance’ is how TechArt describes their bodykits. Their front apron increases visual emphasis and reduces aerodynamic lift, thus improving directional stability at high speeds. The TechArt side sills give the coupe a sleeker look, while the rear spoiler optimizes the effect of the retractable production unit. TechArt’s rear diffuser extends the rear apron downward and provides a dramatic backdrop for the TechArt sport exhaust system.

TechArt offer an extensive wheel and suspension program: Owners of the new Porsche 911 Carrera or Carrera S can refine their cars with striking, light-weight TechArt Formula five-spoke wheels with 18-, 19- or 20-inch diameters. The most exclusive version for the new convertible features new one-piece TechArt Formula light-alloy wheels in size 8.5Jx20 in front and in size 11Jx20 on the rear axle. TechArt recommends ContiSportContact 2 Vmax tires in sizes 235/30 ZR 20 and 305/25 ZR 20 for mounting on these wheels.

Custom-calibrated to the TechArt tire/wheel combinations are unique suspension solutions. The range starts with TechArt sport springs to lower the 911 by 25 millimeters and culminates in the TechArt Vario sport suspension. It was developed in cooperation with Bilsteinto to offer the ability to lower the ride-height on front and rear axle and feature sport shocks with adjustable bound and rebound. TechArt also offers sport sway bars, a dome cross-brace, and a high-performance brake system with eight-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 365- or 380-millimeter brake discs.

Specialising in exclusive interior creations, TechArt has individual interiors for the latest 911 in all colors and designs. The program uses exclusive TechArt Colorline leather as well as sporty accessories iuncluding an ergonomically shaped steering wheel, foot pedals, foot rest and shift knob all made from aluminum as well as stainless-steel sill plates with TechArt logo.
