The Ascari Ecosse is a mid-engine sports car produced by Ascari in 1998 and 1999. With a powerful V8 engine from BMW that was fettled every further by Hartge, this 4.4 to 4.7 liter monster produced between 300 hp (220 kW) and 400 hp (300 kW).

The spaceframe chassis and wishbone suspension carry a lightweight fibreglass body, weighing 1,250 kg (2,756 lb). Fastest acceleration times were posted by the 4.7 litre engine at 0-to-60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Only 17 cars were produced in total.
