1998 Stola Monotipo Concept

Stola displayed the Monotipo Concept at the 1998 Turin Motorshow. It was styled by Aldo Brovarone and executed on a Fiat Spider chassis with a Lancia Delta engine.

To accommodate the proportions, the Fiat Spider chassis was lengthened for a turbocharged version of the Lancia Delta Integrale’s engine. The 330 bhp unit was enough to accelerate the Monotipo to 100 kph in 5.0 seconds.

The body was made of composite materials by Stola including the glass which was formed with Isoclima Polycarbonate. The result is a car weighing just 880 kgs.
